St Patrick's parade is back and to celebrate 50th anniversary taking place in the city of Birmingham 17 March 2024

It's the first time the parade is back in Digbeth since 2019.

{Unfortunately. It has been canceled. for 2025 because of high risk of safety risks a warning  of reported terrorist attack plan from the police was too high to complete with the parade this year plus the cost of running and organizing it was too much to ran this time I really hope it returns back 2026 and this is not the end.} -2025 of march

The well-loved St Patrick's Parade is back after some time away taking place on 17 March 2024 in digbeth but at new location Bradford Street Bigger and better than ever before!!!

With the metro extension running through Digbeth, the original route, which passed landmarks like the Birmingham Coach Station and The Old Crown pub on High Street, was relocated. The new starting point on Bradford Street, introduced by the Camp Hill Adventist Church, began hosting activities around 12:00 PM, offering a more convenient and improved location.

Tens of thousands of people lined the streets of Digbeth to watch and cheer on The St Patrick's Day.

The parade has been known to attract 'up to 80,000 people' in the past making it 'the third biggest St Patrick's Parade' in the world.

Including a heartfelt tribute to Shane MacGowan and the iconic 'Peaky Blinders'  lookalike Community group

A new multimillion-pound film and TV studio, Digbeth Loc. Studios, is set to transform Montague Street in Digbeth. This landmark project will breathe new life into disused Victorian-era buildings, converting them into a cutting-edge studio complex. The development will feature three state-of-the-art film studios, production offices, and a dedicated construction workshop, bringing innovation and creativity to the heart of Digbeth.

Midland Vintage Scooters, the West Midlands Fire Service Float and Pipe Band, Vintage Tractors, and GAA Clubs, to name just a few.
