The new four-day light festival is coming to across the city centre of Birmingham will from February 19 to February 22 2025.
This festival will feature at least eight artworks within walking distance of each other in city.
Five Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) that are coming together as founding partners of the event. Colmore BID, Central BID, Southside District, Westside BID and Jewellery Quarter BID with Outdoor Places Unusual Spaces (OPUS) and curator Alex Nicholson-Evans with be organised this amazing light festival.

Alex Nicholson-Evans, city curator, said: "As a city we need free, accessible arts and culture more than ever before and I am so excited that we're able to provide exactly that through the debut of Birmingham Light Festival. We'll no doubt all need some literal light relief in those challenging post-Christmas months!"
More details about the light installations and an accompanying programme of events will be announced in the New Year.
