Black Country Museum explore over 300 years of history of west midlands Set across over 26 acres carefully reconstructed shops, houses and industrial areas from the1700s through to the 1960s. 

which was inspired by the local community and opened in 1978

meet historic characters around the area who’ll tell you stories of what it was really like to live and work during this revolutionary period of history.

you’ll see history brought to life before your eyes – hear the clang of hammers, smell the smoke billowing from red brick chimneys and maybe even taste the best fish and chips in the Black Country!
